Round #2?

If you have wondered what happens in the weeks after a competition...here you go.

After a week of being slack on my food (which included some pasta, chocolate and chips),  rehydrating and showering like a fool to look normal again..

My bowels are slowly getting back on track after several days of only chicken and rice and no veggies.  My "cycle" has yet to return...TMI but I'm sure some of you were wondering what happens to us gals at 7% bodyfat.

No sign of the "post comp blues" I hear about.  I see this girly on Sunday for as she puts it "coffee, Lulu, and Post-Comp Bloat talk" She won Figure Short and has become a great friend through this process..and lives 2 minutes away..how lucky am I!

I gained back 5 pounds, had 3 great long runs, and saw my trainer Paul for a kick ass arm workout.

narrow grip pull ups
superset tricep rope pressdowns (drop set)
triple set reverse cable crossover flys

Matrix single arm bicep curls (picture shown above)
superset dumbell tricep bench press
Cable standing should external rotators

Tricep kickbacks
superset standing one arm rotator cuff

5 minutes core (side plank leg raises..killer...try them!)

I see my coaches on Tuesday. They have asked permission for me to compete at Provincials June 4th. While I came 7th in Masters, they feel my physique was top 5 and I should be allowed to try again. I am game...I have the suit, I have the confidence now that I've tried it once...I certainly know I can diet down..maybe just not as MUCH diet needed this time.

I WILL have a better tan....maybe 10 coats instead of 8 this time.

No word from the Board on whether I can compete...so I continue to lift heavy, eat ALOT of protein and try to pack on some muscle in the next 10 weeks.

Here's hoping for round #2.
