I'm ready, physically and mentally

It's been a long haul.  Day after day, workout after workout, all the months of prep have come down to this...hard to believe that SO much work goes into a few minutes on a stage...

Today was full of tan application, 5 coats to be exact...both Tim and I got tired of it by the last coat, novelty wore right off after coat 4...I think I even applied the last one all by myself...do you think I'm dark enough?

Tonight we had the official height and weight evening, I measured in exactly 5'4 so I am placed into the medium height category and there is some serious competition in this group of gals. I am determined not to feel intimidated...to just do my own thing and enjoy the experience.

I came home, got my gear ready, my meals set for the show (which include 1/2 cup oatmeal dry with banana and then rice cakes and peanut butter the rest of the day...except for lunch where I get chicken and fries...yum!!!  BUT NO LIQUIDS...except wine...crazy stuff I know!) I was surprised by flowers from my all my boys and big hugs...

My final meal today was a shot of hard liquor...helps with vascularity - I have not drank in years, we didn't even have a shot glass to use! I had to use the measuring cup from a childrens tylenol bottle!!!

It went down smooth....and now I'm half drunk and ready for bed, 5am wake up call for hair and makeup. At the show at 8am, pre-judging at 9 and finals at 5pm.

I'm ready my friends, I can do this...I have earned a spot on that stage and I'm gonna grab it with all I have.

It's showtime!
