I missed posting my week 6 pics.
I was down a bit last week, I had a less than promising weigh in..and it weighed heavily on me.
I lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks. This put me at 121, which is only a few pounds from my competition weight.
I think about the judges comments "try not to come in too lean" and here I am struggling to keep some muscle fat on me!
My coach grilled me..did you have your cheat meal, are you getting in all the carbs you need, are you running less.
YES, YES and well.....kinda sorta
I did do a 9 mile run last weekend...it was nice out, I only meant to do 6, it turned into 9
My bad.
I've been much better this week, and the weight is up to 124.
But would you know it...I trained shoulders yesterday and tweaked my rotator cuff. I'm headed back to the Sports Med Doc this afternoon to get some meds. Looks like it's a leg training week this week!
Abs are much thicker this week, hip flexors are starting to pop out.
I loosened a bit on the diet this week, made some protein muffins and bars and enjoyed a few extra calories. It's been a good week :)

I love how your 6 mile run "turned into" a 9-miler!! That has NEVER happened to me! ha!
