Progress Pics - 6 weeks to go

Tomorrow will be 6 weeks until competition day.

I forget I'm also training for a half marathon in 3 weeks...let's just say that run will be all about finishing...and nothing about time! My trainers made it pretty clear that a 2 hour run was NOT the best idea this close to competition given my max cardio right now is 30-45 minutes a day.  They want me to keep muscle, not run it off!! We worked out a plan so I can incorporate it...I just can't "give rrrrr"

That being said, I cranked out a light 7 miler and it felt great to just move my body after the insane workout I had wednesday morning.

6 weeks out...progress pics.  I weighed in at 126 this week, a loss of 1.5 pounds and I'm now at 11% body fat, down 1% in one week. Everyone is happy so far...I felt off a bit today, likely the intensity of the workouts this week was making me really hungry. I cheated on a few homemade healthy muffins I made for Cole's school lunches. I say cheated as they are not allowed in my plan right now, even though they are uber healthy....but I'm human..so down the muffins went, and boy were they yummy!

Back on track tomorrow, sometimes a detour gives you refocus... no?

Rear Lat Pose..I see a bit more definition in the back from last week. (side note: I did not run in my bikini top and running tights...I know you were judging my outfit...I'll get into those bikini bottoms in the next few weeks..)

Front Pose...YAY Smiling! That was my goal this week. Abs are leaning out a bit this week too. Hello abs, nice to see you again...I've missed you.

    Nice to hear that you cheat too :) You look awesome!

    Question for you though, what do you eat after a workout is done? Especially if the workout is at night? I find that if I do hot yoga at night I am so hungry after it. Any other bloggers can chime in too.
